CAPE GIRARDEAU - Martha Sue Husk, 67, formerly of East Prairie, died at 4:25 a.m. Dec. 26, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born March 19, 1937, at Wolf Island, to the late Ed and Joy Collins Childers, she had lived in Cape Girardeau for the past 13 years. She was a certified nurse aide and member of the Wolf Island Baptist Church.
On March 20, 1954, she married Donald R. Husk, who preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1969.
Survivors include: one son, Darrell Husk of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Vickie Halter and Wendy Fitzpatrick of Cape Girardeau, Marla Hyde of Sikeston and Teresa Henson of Greenbriar, Ark.; three brothers, Gary Childers of Chaffee, Timmy Childers of Matthews and Mike Childers of Austin, Texas; one sister, Mary Hamilton of Sikeston; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
One sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Pallbearers will be: Randy Woods, Greg Woods, Barry Woods, Jason Woods, Matthew Garner and John Brown.
