FARMINGTON - Jessie Mitchell Bloom, 96, died Jan. 21, 2003, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.
Born March 29, 1906, in Blodgett, daughter of the late Manley and Pearl Stagner, she was a member of the Delassus Baptist Church.
Her husband, Louis Bloom, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lenna Vee Holman of Sikeston; one stepdaughter, Nina McGee of Farmington; one stepson, Jack Bloom of Yulee, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, 13 stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 24 stepgreat-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and 12 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Ella Louise Mitchell and Thelma Strong; two stepdaughters, Marie Hawkins and Joy Rousseau; one stepson, Bill Bloom; and three stepgrandchildren, four sisters and one brother.
Services were conducted Friday at the Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington with the Rev. James Marler officiating.
Burial followed in the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
