Kitty Petry

GLENNONVILLE - Kathleen Joan "Kitty" Petry, 65, died Dec. 26, 2004, at her home.

Born April 9, 1939, in Los Angeles, daughter of the late John "Jack" and Dorothy Ludwig Hennessy, she was an office manager for Richardson-Wynette for 14 years and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville where she also served on the School Building Committee.

On May 24, 1958, in San Antonio, she married Dallas Leo Petry who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and James Eberhard of Sikeston, Roxanne and Mark Weidenbenner of Glennonville and Karen and Marco Griffero of St. Louis; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Doug Petry of Pennsylvania and John and Mimi Petry of Maui, Hawaii; one brother, John Hennessy of Kaui, Hawaii; one sister, Lee Ann Barton of California; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

One grandson preceded her in death.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville with the Rev. Glenn Eftink officiating.

Burial followed in St. Teresa's Cemetery at Glennonville.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell was in charge of arrangements.
