MARSTON - Ulisses Luster, 75, died Dec. 22, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born May 25, 1929, at Datle, Ark., he was the son of the late Buster and Trussie Luster. He was a member of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Marston where he was a member of the choir.
His first wife, Bernice Campbell Luster, preceded him in death. In 1975 he married Alberta Reed, who survives of Marston.
Also surviving are six daughters, Doris Luster and Shirley Luster of Wardell, Gloria Luster and Agnes Luster of East St. Louis, Ill., Alice Faye Luster of Caruthersville and Trussie Luster of Springfield, Ill.; four sons, Henry Luster, Anthony Luster and Johnny Luster of East St. Louis and Leonard Charles Luster of Cahokia, Ill.; nine stepdaughters, Erma Terry and MayQuilla Squire of Detroit, Mich., Celois Graham of East St. Louis, Ill., Bobbie Smith, Betty Graham and Charlene Fountain of Howardville, Joyce Collier of New Madrid, Annette Wallace of Lilbourn and Beverly Boyd of Collinsville, Ill.; four stepsons, Eugene Reed of Waynesville, Melvin Reed of Florida, Charles Graham and Edward Graham of Marston; one brother, Willie Luster of Kirkwood; and 45 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ulisses Luster Jr.; and one brother, J.W. Luster.
Services were conducted at noon today at the Good Hope Baptist Church.
Burial followed in the Homestown Cemetery.
Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid was in charge of arrangements.
