Grover Baker
NEW MARKET, Tenn. - Grover Cleveland Baker Jr., 84, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Dec. 24, 2004, at his winter home in LaBelle, Fla.
Born Aug. 8, 1920, in Sikeston, he was a member of the First Baptist Church o f Dandridge.
His wife, Katherine Baker, survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, John C. Baker of Antioch, Ronald Lee Baker of Cross Plains and Grover C. Baker III of Franklin; one daughter, Deborah Ann Carver of Castleton, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Amanda Baker, Tiffany Maxwell, Nancy Gayle Carver, Rachael Carver and Josiah Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was conducted Monday at the Whisper Creek RV Park Clubhouse in LaBelle. Frank Deerey Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church of LaBelle, officiated.
Akin-Davis Funeral Home of LaBelle was in charge of arrangements.
