Anna May Cook

BERTRAND - Anna May Cook, 88, formerly of St. Charles, died at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 21, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 17, 1914, in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late Otto and Marie Meyer Delk, she lived in St. Charles most of her life and was of the Catholic belief.

On July 18, 1935, she married Bruce W. Cook who preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1984.

Survivors include: one son, David Bruce Cook of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Barbara Williams of Charleston; one brother, Wallace Wilson of Fremont, Ohio; one sister, Phyllis Haggerty of Fremont; and eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Brucanna Niemi.

Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Friday at the Baue Funeral Chapel in St. Charles.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
