Your view: Help appreciated

On August 21, the Martin family was involved in a serious one-car accident in Sikeston on Interstate 55 South, heading home to Louisiana. Our vehicle was a blue suburban which was pulling a trailer with a red motorcycle on it.

We would like to express our personal thanks to all individuals who stopped and offered us such kindness and help at the crash site. Some comforted us and stayed with us until medical help arrived. Some retrieved our personal belongings that were strewn around the wreckage, while others helped push our suburban which had pinned my husband's leg. Thanks are also extended to the couple who prayed with us as well. In this incident, we experienced an overwhelming spirit of goodness in middle America and again on our behalf, we are very grateful for all the help and care that was extended to us. God bless you.!
