SIKESTON - Christine Inglis Farmer, 77, formerly of Mississippi County, died Dec. 30, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Dec. 31, 1924, in Drakesboro, Ky., daughter of the late Sherman and Mossie Hope Inglis, she lived in Mississippi County for many years before moving to Rockville, Ind., and later returned to Sikeston.
On Sept. 14, 1946, she married Henry Thomas Farmer who preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1978.
Survivors include: one daughter, Robin Pierce of Morley; one brother, James Inglis of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Ruby Deppen Foster of Paris Crossing, Ind.; two grandchildren, Blake Pierce Jr. and Robin Acosta; and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Greg Forrester, pastor of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Sikeston, officiated.
Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Blake Pierce Sr., Blake Pierce Jr., Roger Jenkins, Dougie Terry, Estel Foster and John Paul Benning.
