Christmas scenes

Members of the First United Methodist Church were stared at and talked about a lot Thursday evening but they were delighted with all the attention.

They were participants in the church's annual Living Christmas Scenes and cars drove by slowly to take a good look at the 10 scenes in which still actors depict different stages in Jesus' life.

Here, several members portray the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The free drive-through event will continue from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today and Saturday.
