FLAT RIVER - For the most part, it wasn't even a ballgame. It definitely wasn't "show time." Jahidi White, Cardinal Ritter's 6-foot-9 sophomore, opened the contest with a convincing dunk, but the rest of Saturday's Class 2A boys quarterfinals was a Portageville exhibition. The Bulldogs beat Cardinal Ritter 76-53 and earned a spot in this weekend's Final Four at Columbia. Portageville will play Highland (24-6) Friday in a semifinal game.
MOREHOUSE - Morehouse Little League Basketball results from last Saturday saw the Spurs defeat the Indians 64-12. Jeff Hall led the Spurs attack with 15 points while Indians' Garry Anderson fought hard for 8 points.
