DEXTER - Herman Russell Pinnon, 83, died March 13, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born Aug. 15, 1918, in Caruthersville, son of the late Wyatt and Johnnie Russell Pinnon, he was a member of the New Covenant Church in Poplar Bluff. A member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner, he was a retired breeder of game fowl.
Survivors include: one daughter, Peggy Jones of Sturgeon; one sister, Mildred Green of St. Louis; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Ruby Adams.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Pinnon; and three brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for Saturday. The Rev. Jerry Moore will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery near Clarkton.
