EAST PRAIRIE - Lynn Edith Farquhar Parker, 84, died at 6:10 a.m. May 26, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 26, 1918, in Okemah, Okla., daughter of the late Lindsay Terry and Lillie G. Collier Cox, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.
On Oct. 14, 1946, she married M.R. Farquhar who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1958.
Survivors include: four sons, Frank Farquhar, Richard Farquhar, Willie Farquhar and Bobby Farquhar of East Prairie; one daughter, Lillie M. Lewis of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Faye C. Tietjen of Jefferson City; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Two daughters and one brother also preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. George White, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Berkley Cemetery near Berkley, Ky.
