SIKESTON - Fredrick "Frog" Ellis, 45, died April 3, 2002, at his home.

Born Aug. 5, 1956, in Dundee, Miss., son of the late James and Viola Dotson Ellis, he lived in Missouri for 30 years and was of the Baptist belief. He attended Sikeston Public Schools and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include: two sons, Fredrick Ellis Jr. and Chris Ellis of Sikeston; three brothers, Ulyses Neal, Robert Ellis and Willie Ellis of Sikeston; eight sisters, Luberta Lott, Dorothy Moon, Penny Simmons, Ruby Mosby and Callie Weakley of Sikeston, Mattie Harris and Mary Edwards of Memphis, Tenn., and Mary Lou Richardson of Chicago, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is from noon Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Roosevelt Weakley will officiate.

The Missouri Honors Program will conduct graveside military rites at Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
