AMORY, Miss. - Pamela "Pam" Alsup Gordon, 43, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died April 8, 2002, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born April 17, 1958, in Sikeston, daughter of Robert M. and Janice Parsons Alsup of Aberdeen, she graduated in 1976 from Amory High School and attended Jackson (Tenn.) Community College where she majored in phlebotomy. She was employed as a phlebotomist and was a member of the North Boulevard Christian Church.
Her husband, Sammy D. Gordon, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Carrie E. Hicks of Amory; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Matthew and Ashley Turner of Amory; one sister, Carolyn Logan of Amory; one brother, Robert Dewayne Alsup of Aberdeen; and three grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the North Boulevard Christian Church with the Rev. Ferman Anderson and the Rev. Buzz Wilkinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Haughton Memorial Park Cemetery at Amory.
Her cousins will serve as pallbearers.
