SIKESTON - Leo Brauer Monday took over new duties as advertising manager of the Sikeston Standard, succeeding Roy Wilcox, who returned Saturday to Southwest City, where he is publisher of a weekly newspaper.

Dempster, a member of the University of Missouri Board of Curators, presented a check for $100,000 to Kenneth Dement, a member of the Board of Regents at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
