Twistin' the night away

Participants in the Miss Drama Queen Contest do the "twist" during the competition's talent portion at the Graycen Beardslee Benefit, which was held Saturday at the St. Lawrence Parish Center in New Hamburg. Proceeds from the contest, oral auction, silent auction and food court will be used to purchase a special suit and to construct a play center for 2-year-old Graycen who was recently diagnosed with xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare and incurable genetic disorder that makes exposure to the sun or any ultraviolet light life threatening.
