BENTON - Thomas Wayne Gregory Sr., 63, died at 4:33 a.m. June 29, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 11, 1943, at Morehouse, to the late Mable Marie Pack and Earl Theopolis Gregory, he was a plumber and a plumbing instructor at Florida State Correctional Facility. He was of the Baptist belief, affiliated with Eagle Christian Mission Church and a lifetime member of N.R.A. and Bassmasters.

On Dec. 15, 1974, at Morehouse, he married Linda Joyce Owens who preceded him in death Dec. 19, 2006.

Two brothers also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Thomas Gregory Jr. of Racine, Wis., and William Kicklighter of Hernando, Fla.; one daughter, Tamula McCombs of Anniston; five sisters, "Billie" Bell of Bloomfield and Deanie Bollinger, LouNell Curtner, Alma Creed and Betsy Fields of Sikeston; and nine grandchildren and three great-


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Benton. The Rev. William Marshall will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Pallbearers will be: Thomas Gregory III, James Gregory III, Tim Gregory, Dean McCombs, Chris Gregory and Scott Gregory.
