SIKESTON - Roy G. Colliflower, 101, died Nov. 5, 2003, at the Miner Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 5, 1902, in Hutsonville, Ill., son of the late John S. and Eliza Johnson Colliflower, he was a self-employed farmer and member of the Bertrand Baptist Church. He served on the Diehlstadt School Board for several years and was a member of the Bertrand Lions Club.
On Sept. 16, 1934, in Commerce, he married Lillian V. "Tinch" Michael who preceded him in death on June 20, 1998.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and David Rolwing of Deerfield beach, Fla.; two granddaughters, Ruth diStefano of Barrington, Ill., and Laura Riggs of Culpeper, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. Monsignor Richard C. Rolwing, senior priest in service at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
