Local Woodmen of the World reps to host meeting

SIKESTON - Nancy Tatum and Melissa Coots, local Woodmen of the World representatives, will host an informational meeting for those who want to learn more about the company and its role in the insurance business. The public can drop in from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18 at their office, located in the Interstate Office Building.

"The meet-and-eat luncheon is for anyone interested in meeting us and learning a little bit more about our fraternal company and what makes us different from any other insurance company," said Tatum.

Coots explained that Woodmen of the World, established in 1890, has survived depressions, recessions and wars, yet has continued to maintain an A-plus superior rating.

"And in our nine years of having an office in this area, we have been very fortunate to have so many wonderful people in our lodge," she added. The Woodmen of the World local lodge next meets at 6:30 p.m. July 17 at Fisherman's Net.
