MUNFORD, Tenn. - Claude C. "Jim" Waldrop, 65, died June 2, 2003, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis.
Born Aug. 8, 1937, in Greenville, S.C., son of the late Claude Cornelius and Annie Lou Bledsoe Waldrop, he served with the U.S. Navy for 10 years and was of the Presbyterian belief. He was a member of Millington Masonic Lodge, Memphis Scottish Rite, Al Chymia Shrine Center, Shrine Legion of Honor, American Legion and a former chairman of the DeMolay.
His wife, Terrie Pearson Waldrop, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: six daughters, Christi Kellett of Gray Court, S.C., Ann Chaney of Brighton, Judy Adams of Munford, Wendy Wade of Drummonds, Pam Marrow of Memphis and Jennifer Boyet of Portageville, Mo.; one son, Robert Waldrop of Munford; and 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were conducted June 6 at the Munford Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery.
