SIKESTON -- Officers with Sikeston Department of Public Safety are investigating the theft of a tractor from Nelson Tractor and Equipment.
The theft was reported Monday morning after store manager Steve Baehr noticed the orange tractor missing.
The tractor is valued at $17,702. Also taken was a front-end loader, valued at $4,502 and a rear-end loader valued at $7,749.
No tracks were found at the scene, leading officers to believe the items were not pulled from the business.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sikeston DPS at 471-1500. All communications will be confidential.
