SIKESTON -- An armed robbery Monday night at B.J.'s Kwik Shop is under investigation by officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
The robbery occurred around 9:20 p.m. when a black female entered the store and stated she had a gun.
The woman pushed something, believed to be the gun, into the back of an employee and locked the employee along with a second employee in the back room. An undetermined amount of money was taken from the business.
There were no injuries and no gun was ever seen by employees.
