SCOTT CITY - Floella Jane Bagwell, 87, died at 1:50 p.m. Aug. 28, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 11, 1915, in Puxico, daughter of the late William Arthur and Elizabeth Harmon Hamil, she was a seamstress for Thorngate Ltd. before retiring. She was a member of Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harmon Hamil and Clifford Hamil; one sister, Callye Wright; and one niece, Debra Brawley.
Survivors include: two nephews, Bob Hamil of Scott City and J.T. Wright of Mountain Home, Ark.; four nieces, Nina Bizaillion of Godfrey, Ill., Bonnie Raney of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Floy Hamby of O'Fallon and Myrna Hale of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and 18 great-nieces and nephews and 33 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Dennis Bell will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
