DUDLEY - Barbara Ann Oliver, 54, died June 2, 2003, at her home near Dudley.
Born March 8, 1949, to the late Floyd and Lottie Helderman Fowler, she lived her entire life in the Puxico and Dudley areas. A 1967 graduate of Puxico High School and a 1990 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in social work, she operated the Little Wonder Day Care Center in Puxico. She was a counselor with the Judevine Autistic Foundation, served as director of the Parents as Teachers in Puxico and was a lifelong member of the Corinth Central Baptist Church in Puxico.
On July 20, 1968, in Puxico, she married James Oliver, who survives of Puxico.
Other survivors include; one son, David Oliver of Puxico; two daughters, Leigh Anne Rommel of Poplar Bluff and Sherry McGill of Puxico; three brothers, Lyman Fowler and Harvey Fowler of Puxico and Floyd Ray Fowler of Perryville, Ohio; one sister, Elwanda Sebree of Dudley; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Bob Bradford of Delta and the Rev. Jimmy Clark of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
