He scored what ended up being a season-best 29 points in a double-overtime loss to Marion, Ill. Of that total, 25 points came in the second half. He also had 15 rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals. (12-3-02)

In Sikeston's first win against Dexter since 1999, McClinton led all scorers with 23 points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter. He also had 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots. (12-6-02)

In a 65-57 win against state-ranked DeSoto, McClinton recorded a game-high 27 points, with 19 coming in the second half. He was 11-of-13 from the field with seven rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. (12-7-02)
