CHARLESTON - Anna Louise Morris, 76, died at 7 p.m. Nov. 24, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 10, 1927, in Charleston, daughter of the late Frank M. and Mary Anna Evans, she had lived in Charleston most of her life, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was employed as a payroll clerk at the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston for 24 years until retiring in 1989.
In December 1955, she married Tom Morris who preceded her in death in May 1988.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Phillip Rowland of Charleston; one sister, Dorothy Hess of Collierville, Tenn.; and two grandsons, Seth Rowland and Zach Rowland of Charleston.
One brother, F.M. Forbey, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Wednesday until service time at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Rowden, Caleb Rowden, Larry Turley, Todd Hall, Kevin Hess and Don McCann.
