BERNIE - Richard Clay Greer, 57, died July 30, 2004, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born May 14, 1947, at Canalou, he was the son of Chloia Sparks Greer of Bernie and the late Everett Greer.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: two sons, Chris Maddox and Shannon Maddox of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Roxy Diane Barlett of Kentucky and Melanie Ann Greer of Indiana; two brothers, Donald Greer and James Greer of Bernie; and eight grandchildren.

One sister, Alice Mikesell, preceded him in death.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
