SIKESTON -- Dr. Jessica Danielle HeiRonimus and Logan Parker Lemmons were united in marriage in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony June 14, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Sandra Schaller and Thom Lemmons performed the ceremony. Nathan Laney of Kansas City served as reader for the occasion.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Linda HeiRonimus of Sikeston. She is the granddaughter of John and Becki Lusk of El Dorado, Ark., Ruby HeiRonimus of Sikeston, J.R. HeiRonimus of Sikeston and the late Joan Furey Lusk.
Parents of the bridegroom are Glenn and Nancy Lemmons of Sikeston. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Parker of Borger, Texas, C.G. Lemmons Sr. of Sikeston and the late Marjorie Lemmons.
Music for the ceremony was sung by Brooke Lemmons Deal and Barrett Lemmons, brother and sister of the bridegroom; and Trista Smith, friend of the bride.
The bride and bridegroom were presented in marriage by their parents. Designed by Jim Hjelm, the bride's ivory Italian satin strapless gown featured an empire bodice with crystallized iridescent beading and pearls on an embroidered band accent. The back of the gown was complemented with covered buttons and a chapel length train.
Maid of honor was Kelly HeiRonimus, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Lemmons Deal of Fort Worth, Texas, sister of the bridegroom; and Katy Carmichael of Kansas City, Trista Smith of Chicago, Ill., Trina Swogger Waldham of Bradenton, Fla., and Annie Ralph Matthews of Stillwater, Okla., friends of the bride. Flower girl was Madeleine Vickery, friend of the bride.
Ross Lemmons of Sikeston served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Barrett Lemmons of Fort Worth, brother of the bridegroom; and Tim Gripka of Pierce City, Mike Kruse of St. Louis, Rome Pelczynski of Sikeston and Clay Matthews of Stillwater, friends of the bridegroom. Hunter Deane of Sikeston, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Matt Deane of Sikeston, cousin of the bride; Wade Hamra, Justen Patterson and Drew Donovan of Sikeston; Chris Schwartz, Todd Long and Duke McLarty of St. Louis; and Aaron Benson of Monroe.
Dr. Annie Slater of Hartford, Conn., friend of the bride, was guest book attendant.
An outdoor reception was held following the ceremony at the home of Mark and Sandy Deane, aunt and uncle of the bride. Music was supplied by Classic Choices Sound System and by the band, Shady Deal.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 13 at the Malone Avenue Grill in Sikeston.
A 2003 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Mrs. Lemmons is a resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
The bridegroom is also employed by the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where he is an agricultural program associate.
Following a trip to Cozumel, Mexico, they are making their home in Knoxville.
