WOODSON -- Sarah Louise Adams, 76, formerly of Dexter, died Oct. 13, 2007, at her home.

Born May 10, 1931, in Pennsylvania, to the late Francis and Jessie Birdsall Ginter, she lived in Dexter from 1972 until moving to St. Louis in 2004. She had worked for the Airways Restaurant as a waitress before her retirement and had attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter.

On July 6, 1951, at St. Louis, she married Ronald G. Adams who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1999.

Survivors include: two sons, Dennis Adams of Cahokia, Ill., and Robert Adams of St. Louis; one daughter, Janet Carrillo of St. Louis; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Collins of Broseley officiating.
