Helen Huggins

SAN ANTONIO - Helen Evelyn Huggins, 74, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died July 26, 2004, at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.

Born Nov. 5, 1929, in Manila, Ark., daughter of the late Fred Lamont Jackman and Pearl Christian Jackman, she graduated in 1947 from Sikeston High School. She was a retired nurse and had lived in Sikeston from 1980 until 2003.

Her husband, Hubert Huggins, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Gloria Sullivan and Janet Stidhem; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her son, Allen Huggins, preceded her in death.

Graveside services were conducted Thursday at the Wetmore Community Cemetery in San Antonio.
