SCOTT CITY - Tommie Ray Cochran Sr, 49, died at 7:47 a.m. Sept. 21, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 16, 1953, in Kankakee, Ill., son of William Owen Cochran of Pueblo, Colo., and the late Delories Spriggs, he was a supervisor for Industrial Fuels and Resources and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On April 27, 1971, in Baum Holder, Germany, he married Theresa Ann Seyer who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and father include: his stepfather, Lester Simmons of Scott City; three sons, Scott "Bernie" Cochran of Perryville and Tommie Ray Cochran II and Jamie Cochran of Scott City; two daughters, Sarah Cochran and Chelsie Cochran of Scott City; five brothers, Willie Cochran and Bruce Cochran of Scott City, Steve Simmons of Advance, Rodney Simmons of Cape Girardeau and Tracy Simmons of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Brenda Cochran of Dallas; his maternal grandmother, Helen Brant of Scott City; and one grandson, Ethen Cochran.
One sister preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until time for a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Hill Church in Rockview. C.B. Stidham will officiate.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
