BERNIE - Eva Louise Tucker, 79, died Dec. 13, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Jan. 10, 1924, at Bernie, daughter of the late Willie and Dollie Mason Stephens, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bernie.

Her husband, Thomas Cletis Tucker, preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1992.

Survivors include: two sons, Dale Tucker of Bernie and Junior Tucker of Malden; two daughters, Carolyn Eggert of Alton and Linda Price of Bernie; three brothers, Gary Stephens of Stark, Fla., and William Stephens and Donald Stephens of Bernie; two sisters, Lucille Collins and Wanda Smith of Bernie; and 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

One daughter, Shirley Bridges, also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Nathan Lamirand will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
