Floyd Lynn "Nub" Crawford, 71, died Jan. 11, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 20, 1932, in Puxico, son of the late Hadley and Ruth Arnold Crawford, he had lived in St. Louis from 1956 to 1992 and returned to Puxico in 1993. A 1952 graduate of Puxico High School, he had worked as a production manger at Benjamin Moore Paints in St. Louis. A U.S. Navy veteran serving in Japan and the Philippines during the Korean War, he was a member of the First Christian Church in Puxico and Puxico Masonic Lodge 596.
On May 8, 1952, in Pocahontas, Ark., he married Alice Jane Moore who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two daughters, Patricia Jean Herrin of Harrison, Ark., and Peggy Jane Sharp of Puxico; three sons, Daniel Lynn Crawford of Affton, Michael Floyd Crawford of House Springs and Timothy Alan Crawford of St. Louis; one brother, Robert Eubanks of Doniphan; one sister, Lavern Beal of Doniphan; and 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Puxico. The Rev. Wiley McGhee of Puxico and the Rev. David Rusch of Poplar Bluff will officiate.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico.
