BLOOMFIELD - Dan Denny, 85, died July 18, 2003, at his home near Bloomfield.
Born Dec. 26, 1917, in Bloomfield, son of the late Alfred and Veda Denny, he was a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield community. A retired farmer and member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On April 28, 1941, he married Quinola Wright who preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 1999.
Survivors include: one sister, Irene Willis of Dexter; one nephew and wife, Darrell and Vickie Willis of Newark, Del.; and two nieces and their husbands, Karen and Steve Comfort and Vickie and David Green of Dexter.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. today until service time at 3 p.m. at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Ron Dunavin will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
