SIKESTON -- Beth Suzanne Lambert and Jason Thomas McLemore were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony May 27, 2006, at Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Mitchell Jackson, pastor, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Regina Lambert and Ron and Cindy Ressel of Sikeston. Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and Menetta McLemore of Sikeston.
Vocalists Jared Self and Amber Pierce and musicians Wendy Self, Regina Lambert and Angela McAfee provided music for the occasion.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero Felicity creation. The diamond white gown with a sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves featured an asymmetrical front drape with a corset back. The gown was also embellished in Swarovski crystals, glass beads, sequins, seed beads and pearls.
Maid of honor was Brooke Lambert of Sikeston, and matron of honor was Kerry Evans of Sikeston. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Showmaker, Brandi Brooks and Taylor Kirkpatrick, all of Sikeston; and Sarah Self of St. Louis.
Lexi Lambert, daughter of Brooke Lambert of Sikeston, served as flower girl.
Justin McLemore of Sikeston served as best man. Groomsmen were Ronnie James, Aaron Vaughn, Chris Mays, Nick Lambert and Zach Moore of Sikeston.
Ringbearer was Ryan Lambert, son of Terry and Regina Lambert of Sikeston.
Logan Kirkpatrick and Kenny Maseigan of Sikeston and Alex Shell of Cape Girardeau served as candle lighters. Lori James and Carla McLemore, both of Sikeston, were guestbook attendants.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Elks Lodge in Sikeston. Ellie Minner of Sikeston, grandmother of the bride, provided the cake for the reception. Guests were served refreshments by Julie Showmaker of Sikeston, and Jenni Hall of Denver served cake and punch.
Following a wedding trip to Tampa, Fla., the new Mr. and Mrs. McLemore are making their home in Sikeston.
