DEXTER - Arthur W. Dunning, 71, died March 3, 2004, at his home.
Born Aug. 27, 1932, at Advance, son of the late John Joseph and Millie Elledge Dunning, he attended the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he had been a construction worker.
On Dec. 8, 1951, at Pocahontas, Ark., he married Betty S. McMillion who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sandi Walker of Dexter; two sisters, Gladys Farmer and Betty Parker of Dexter; two grandchildren, Kyle Walker of Dexter and Alison Walker of Staunton, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.
One half brother, Monroe Dunning, preceded him in death.
Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Rev. Robert Bentley officiating.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
