DEXTER -- Lillie Honey, 91, died Feb. 13, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 29, 1912, at Newport, Ark., daughter of the late Mack and Minnie Riley Cochran, she was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church at Dexter and a former employee of Elder Manufacturing Co. at Dexter, where she worked for 27 years.
On Dec. 13, 1930, at Newport, she married William Luther Honey who preceded her in death on March 14, 1988.
Survivors include: one son, Thomas P. Honey of Wappapello; three daughters, Wilba Conner of Paragould, Ark., and Melba Christian and Janice Honey of Dexter; two sisters, Dorothy Julius of Dexter and Verlie Hardin of Arnold; and 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
One brother, J.R. Cochran; and one sister, Pearlie Ross, also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. Monday until time for services at 2 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Dean Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
