Angela Byrd

NEW MADRID - Angela Sue Byrd, 29, died Nov. 2, 2003, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 15, 1974, at St. Louis, daughter of Gary Dean Byrd of Greenville and Karan Campbell Byrd of New Madrid, she attended the Kenny Rogers Children's Center and was a former poster child for the center.

Survivors include: two brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy Dean and Tina Byrd and Garrett M.D. "Bubbu" and Melissa Byrd of New Madrid; paternal grandparents, Jessie and Ray Garland of San Antonio, Texas; and his maternal grandmother, Johnette Campbell of Parma.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ira M.D. Campbell.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with Ed Thomason, pastor of the New Madrid Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will follow.
