CAMPBELL - Paula Umfress, 27, died March 23, 2004, at Piggott (Ark.) Community Hospital.
Born June 24, 1976, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Kay King of Malden and the late Joe Cumins, she attended Three Rivers Community College and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.
On Aug. 27, 1994, at Malden, she married Scotty Wayne Umfress who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: one son, Holden Scott Umfress of the home; one daughter, Raven McKenna Umfress of the home; her stepfather, Johnny King of Malden; her stepmother, Nina Cumins of Risco; one sister, Kristi Winn of Anchorage, Alaska; one brother, Matt Cumins of Risco; three stepsisters, Yalonda Kooyman of San Diego, Pennie Hendrixson of Malden and Jami Lyn Irvan of the state of California; one stepbrother, Johnny Ray King of Malden; and her grandmother, Amalene Cumins of Van Buren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde Cumins, Bertha Mae Kinder and Frank Kinder.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell where services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Charley Shrum will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
