Puxico woman killed in accident

PUXICO - A woman was killed when her vehicle became involved in three-car collision.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday an eastbound vehicle driven by Alicia Jarrell, 29, of Puxico was pulling from a parking lot at Highway 51 and Industrial Drive in Puxico. Jarrell's vehicle struck a northbound vehicle driven by Linda Emerson, 46, of Puxico, causing Emerson's vehicle to rotate clockwise.

The Emerson car was then struck by a southbound truck driven by Jackie Price, 46, of St. Mary.

Emerson was taken by Air Evac to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau where she was pronounced dead at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday.
