CHARLESTON - Nadine Brasher, 62, formerly of Piedmont, died at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 12, 2003, at her daughter's home in Charleston.
Born Feb. 17, 1941, near East Prairie, daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Bowles Mansfield, she worked for Brown Shoe Company in Piedmont. She was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include: two sons, Randy Cave of Charleston and Jamie Cave of Piedmont; four daughters, Charlotte Froman of Patterson, Brenda Merryman of Charleston, Sandra Hill of East Prairie and Tina Turner of Piedmont; one stepson, Loran Collins of Granite City, Ill.; one brother, Jerry Mansfield of Bell City; one sister, Lula Faye Maestas of Bell City; and 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one stepson, Alva Collins; and two brothers and four sisters.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. Bob Webb will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
