Bud Leiner
SCOTT CITY - Henry Charles "Bud" Leiner Jr., 85, died at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 11, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 13, 1917, in Fornfelt, son of the late Henry Charles and Millie Myrtle Johnson Sr., he was postmaster at Fornfelt from 1939-1942 and retired as an engineer for the Cotton Belt Railroad.
On June 27, 1939, at Fornfelt, he married Dorothy Mae Belk who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Don W. and Pat Leiner of Poplar Bluff; three granddaughters and spouses, Michelle and Perry Farmer, Angie and Lanny Corcimiglia and Lori and Shawn Shelton of Poplar Bluff; and three great-grandchildren, Danielle Farmer, Jacob Corcimiglia and Hannah Corcimiglia.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 2 pm. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
