Obermark strikes out nine in getting the win for Wild Eyes

SIKESTON - Here are the results from Friday's Sikeston Area Youth Baseball action. Some games are late results from Thursday night.

Lions exploded for eight runs in the third inning to win the game. Jamie Kindle, Jason Isaacs and Trey Little all combined for the win for Lions.

Chris Limbaugh, Will Holifield and Zach Partin all threw for Sikeston Auto in a losing effort.

Kindle led all batters with three hits. Nathan Rodgers added two hits. Others collecting hits were Marshall Stallings, Isaacs, Dillon Murphy, Mikey Russell and Zack Myers.

Colton Young went the distance to pick up the win, striking out eight. Josh Carlyle and Kai Lambert combined for the loss.

Lambert and Amos Helms each had a double for King.

Lewis saw Cody Rice pick up the win on the mound, striking out three in the process. Ronnie Pyland and Dylan Martin combined for the loss for Legion.

Rice and Bryan Freed each went 4-4 in the winning effort. Tyler Selvig had an inside the park home run, a double and a triple.

Landon Hampton led Legion with two hits.

Eyes' pitcher Jimmy Obermark threw four innings and struck out nine to pick up the win. Obermark and Josh Williams each had four hits to lead the way. Colton Young had an inside the park home run, a double and a triple.

Ryan Long, Chris Limbaugh and Will Holifield combined for the loss. Zack Partin had a double to lead SAS.

Nunnelee got a winning pitching performance out of Chris Alley. Kirby's Taylor Scott, Zach Shaw and Vashon Ruffin combined for the loss.

Patrick Smith, Lucas Houchin and Matt Keene each had three hits to pace Nunnelee. Bryant Decota had two hits and Hunter Duff added one hit.

Shaw had a hit for Kirby's.

SD's Conner Landers, Drew Harper and Jackson Stallings combined for the win, striking out nine batters in the game.

Harper and Landers each had two hits. Stallings and Alexander Protzel each had one hit.

For Steward Steel, Josh Young, Conor MacGillivray and Michael Burdin combined for the loss.

Hampton, Burdin and Tyler Neal each had one hit for Steel.

Morlan's Cord Sheehy, Tyler Anderson and Caleb McCord combined to strikeout 11 batters in the game to pick up the win. Lucas Houchin struck out seven in a losing effort.

Anderson had three hits and Sheehy and McCord each had two hits. Ryan Norton added one hit.

Drew Harper had one hit for Nunnelee.


Ferguson was led by Mack Marcum with three hits. Caleb Dunn, Tyler McClinton and Brandon Wilson each had two hits. McClinton and Audie Hay each had home runs.

Wilson was led by Ben Stallings, Matt Sims and Caleb Hampton with two hits each.

Salvage saw Austin Bowman collect three hits to lead the way. Clay Reddick, Seth Williams, Tyler Kolwyck, Garrett Larson, Lane Williams, Trent Sidwell and Aaron Neal each had two hits.

Fabrite was led by Jacob Clark and Christian Burns with two hits each.


Motors' Colson Frakes led all hitters with three hits, including two home runs. Alex Comstock and Wyn Roberds each had two hits. Gavin Pobst added a double.

Realty was led by Torrie Helms, Colton Davis, Whitney Gaines and Shawn Ferguson with one hit each.
