SIKESTON -- The SEMO Quail Unlimited Chapter is sponsoring an informational meeting about Bobwhite quail and their habitat needs. The meeting is at 7 p.m. May 26 at the Elks Lodge in Sikeston. Admission is free and open to the public. Non-members are encouraged to attend. SEMO Q.U. represents upland game hunters of Southeast Missouri and works toward improving quail and upland game hunting in our area.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Tom Dailey, a research scientist specializing in Bobwhite quail. He is employed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Come and hear what Dr. Dailey has to say about quail. You'll be pleased to learn about the new emphasis being put on the Bobwhite by MDC.
