BLOOMFIELD - Charles "Chuck" Curley, 73, died June 11, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Born Jan. 22, 1930, in Peach Orchard, son of the late Charley and Rudie Marie Dodd Kerley, he lived in Chicago, Ill., for many years before moving to Bloomfield in 1991. He was employed by Ace Blinds before retiring and was a member of the Bernie Christian Church.
On June 4, 1962, in Chicago, he married Phyllis Hoyne who preceded him in death on July 7, 1984.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rita Charicki of Chicago; one son, Garry A. Kerley Sr. of Chicago; one brother, Charles L. Kerley of Dudley; three sisters, Peggy McEnerney of Essex, Alberta Shelton of West Memphis, Ark., and Debbie Harvey of Beach Park, Ill.; one grandson and one great-grandson; and a special friend, Margie Campbell of Bernie.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Kenneth L. Ragle and Cecil R. Kerley; and one granddaughter.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Keith Warren of Malden will officiate.
Burial will be in the Mount Auburn Memorial Park at Stickney, Ill., at a later date.
