WYATT - Willie Jackson, 88, died March 5, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 15, 1914, in Round Pond, Ark., son of the late Wills and Hattie Jackson, he lived in Missouri since 1945. He was a self-employed carpenter and member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Wyatt.
In 1934, he married Ida Mae Jackson who preceded him in death.
He and Susie Mae Hern were married in 1971 and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: seven daughters, Willie Edyth Davidson, Remal Orr, Argusta Lucas, Evelyn Sherman and Neomia Young of Detroit, Mich., Artenser Durrah of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Pat Jackson and Charvette Calvin of Sikeston; two stepsons, the Rev. Elvin Greer and James Greer of Wyatt; one brother, Tom Thomas of Compton, Calif.; four sisters, Lucinda Johnson and Argusta Baker of Forest City, Ark., Stella Barton of Compton and Grace Dudley of Cleveland, Ohio; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. Monday until service time at 1 p.m. at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Elder Limmie D. Pulliam, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Sparks Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
