ORAN -- Glenn and Susan Nothdurft have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sara, to Brandon Pylate, son of Penny Green of Jackson and Jerry Pylate of Caruthersville.
A 2004 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned a master's degree in education, the future bride teaches English at Hickman High School in Columbia. Next fall she will teach French at Jackson High School.
The prospective bridegroom earned a degree in agri-business management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. He is employed by Pyramid Clinical Services in Cape Girardeau.
A July 16 wedding at the Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville is being planned.
