COLUMBIA - Local independent insurance agents Laura Green, Ben Towe and Barbara Burnett of the First National Insurance Agency, attended the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents' 15th Annual Small Agency Conference March 31-April 1.
\Over 450 independent insurance agents, brokers and insurance company representatives attended the conference, which is designed for small to medium-sized agencies from both rural and metropolitan areas. Education programs focused on changes in commercial general liability policy hard-to-
lace markets, sales and marketing. Over 70 insurance companies and vendors also participated.
SIKESTON - Jim Gooch of Feeders Supply completed the PSE, Browning Archery and Archery Research Technical Course in Tucson, Ariz.
In the last 15 to 20 years the retail sales of archery equipment has grown to be a significant segment of the sporting goods industry. Due to the rapid change in the technology in archery equipment, PSE-Browning Archery and Archery Research created the concept of archery and sporting goods dealer education programs and began offering training schools. The course is designed to disseminate the most cutting-edge technical information available. On Feb. 6, Gooch graduated from the PSE-Browning Archery and Archery Research Technical Certification School. The training program educates the archery dealer in perfecting bow set-up techniques, customer service skills and the latest product training.
Jamie Gooch was recently named the new archery/outdoors products manager for Feeders Outdoors.
