SIKESTON -- Joel and Patricia Vinson have announced the engagement of their daughter, Mary-Katherine, to Darren Ray Landewee of Oran, son of Jerome and Carolyn Landewee of Oran.

A 1993 graduate of Sikeston High School, the future bride received bachelor of science degrees in agriculture business and animal science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997. She is a precision ag specialist with MFA Agri Services in Chaffee.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Oran High School and is employed by Siebert Farms in Chaffee.

A July 26 wedding is planned at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran.
