Born March 30, 1930, at Grayridge, son of the late Thomas Clarence and Tiny Augusta Bollinger Burnett, he was a retired carpenter and member of Faith Fellowship in Dexter.
On July 3, 1948, at Piggott, Ark., he married Mary Louise Snider who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Tim Burnett of Dexter and Adrian Burnett of Jonesboro, Ark.; three daughters, Karen Oldham, Sue Davidson and Kandie Lee of Dexter; one sister, Elvira Walker of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ralph David Burnett; three brothers, Barrett Burnett, Fred Burnett and Boyd Burnett; and four sisters, Clara Burnett, Dottie Mae Burnett, Louise Orne and Jewell Kinder.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Karen Oldham officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
